In the magic exhibition "Timetravel through the secrets of magic" you can enjoy the private collection of the magician Mano d´Oro.
On display are old posters, magic boxes, playing cards, mechanical toys, graphics, Tarot cards, magic books from 1700's, paintings, grand illusions and a lot more.
In the exhibition you can also see and enjoy close-up magic, for example se how balloon figures are made.

The hotel price includes guided castle tour and entrance to the magic exhibition during 1.6. – 31.7.2022.

To utilize the discount, you need to make a booking for the castle tour in our shop with the code: TAIKALINNA

Booking for the castle tour automatically includes entry to the magic exhibition. Please be prepared to show a receipt for paid accommodation when visiting the exhibition and taking the guided tour.

The discount does not apply to special rates, bookings made before 23.2.2022 or to group reservations.

Cancellation of Svartå Manor services the same day due to individual illness or exposure, will not be invoiced.

CASTLETOUR

An interesting Castle tour in the precious main building with our professional guide is an experience!
During the tour, you will hear about the interesting history of the area and also personal stories of the family and owners.
The tours have been very popular and have received tremendously good feedback.
The tour takes about an hour.

NUMBER OF VISITORS ON A TOUR
Guided tours with over 10 participants can be arranged in the manor house, taking into consideration the safety distances. For an open tour we'll take 35 persons at the most.

THE GUIDE WELCOMES YOU TO THE TOUR IN FRONT OF THE CASTLE

The door to the castle is closed and only opened when a tour starts. We kindly ask the visitors to be on time and prepare to show the receipt for the ticket.

IF YOUR ARE LATE
We wish you will notify us if you will be late for the tour. The front door of the castle is closed when the tour starts. If you arrive late fort he tour, and it hasn't been possible to notify us, help is at hand in the recetion.
The reception is located in the same building as the restaurant, opposite the castle, next to the conference room the Stable.

IN CASE IT RAINS
In case it rains it is good to know that there isn't a shelter by the castle. Umbrellas can be bought from the reception. Unfortunately, waiting in the restaurant is not possible if the restaurants is fully booked.
Every guest in the restaurant needs to have their own seat by a table. The entrance to the restaurant or the reception isn't big enough as a waiting area.
Upstairs in the restaurant, by the toilets, there is a cabinet in which you can wait, whilst the cabinet is not booked.

INSTRUCTIONS THE GUIDED TOUR
Our guides will give you instructions at the beginning of the tour which we kindly ask you to follow. We don't stop in the smaller rooms where safety distances can't be held, these rooms can be visited in smaller groups of people.
Please pay attention to what the guides tell you. For safety ad hygienic reasons, please don't tough door frames, handrails, walls and all other movables, if possible.

DISINFECTANT
We kindly ask tour visitors to use the hand disinfectant which can be found at the manor.

FACE MASKS
Face masks are recommended. In case you can't use a face mask, we kindly recommend to keep the safety distances and hygiene.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GUEST
Please note that keeping the safety distances and following the instructions is on every visitors own responsibility. Mustio Manor personnel and guides are allowed to ask a visitor to leave the tour if the visitor does not follow the given instructions.

If you still don't feel comfortable and safe to attend a tour, and it feels like the maximum amount of visitors is too big, we kindly ask you to notify the guide when leaving the tour.
Please visit the reception to sort things out. We would be happy to find you a place on another tour, when it is possible. We're happy to help and would like you to enjoy yourself.

PRIVATE TOUR
It is possible to book a private tour if you don't feel safe on the open tour. Please ask for an offer for a private tour at the reception!

SUITABILITY, INSURANCES, REQUIREMENTS
Mustio Manor is one of Finlands most valuable manors and under the regulation of the Finnish Heritage Agency. A visitor at the museum is responsible for any potential damage they cause.
Camera surveillance in the museum. Children only in care of an adult. Children on the tour are always the responsibility of the adult they're with.
Any disabilities should always be notified in advance, so that we can offer the accuired help on arrival and also customise the tour accordingly. The tour is held on both the first and second floor of the castle.
Stairs to the upper floors, no elevator. Stairs also at the castle entrance, where a ramp can be put by pre-notification.
Disabled can attend the open tour on the first floor. If possible the tour can be proloned on the first floor.

ARRIVAL AND PARKING
You can check the location of the different buildings from the area map on our website. There you also find the closest parking.

Parking for disabled is located by the entrance to the restaurant.
Emergency routes are to be kept free for safety reasons.
Please don't park in front of the summer theater or the restaurant, if you don't need a parking space for disabled for your vehicle.
Parking area can also be found by the Mustio Church, opposite the main parking area for Mustio Manor.
The distance to the restaurant from the parking is about 400 metres.

We take in consideration all instructions, regulations and recommendations from the goverment, THL and MaRa.
Please visit us only if you are feeling healthy.
Please pay special attention to hand cleaning and safety distances.
The restauranttoilets are available for our guests of museum, park and theater.

In case you get sick you can cancel your restaurant, hotel or museum tour reservation for a maximum of four persons the same day. Please make the cancellation by phone to our reception: +3581936231
Theatre ticket cancellations must be done directly to the ticket sales by the summer theatre.

Mustio Manor is maintained through business profit.
Mangus Linder bought back his childhood home and started the business 1985. Mustio manor is owned  by the Linder family. The manor house has been run by a foundation sinch Magnus Linders death and is under the supervision of the Finnish National Board of Antiquities
The owners does not take out any profit. The aim is to preserve a historically important area for coming generations according to Magnus Linders winches
Any profit is uses to maintain, restore an develop the area and budlings.
